EID AL ADHA 2018 |
EID AL ADHA is celebrated on the 10th day of the holy twelfth month of Islamic calendar, DHUA’L HIJJAH. This month is declared as the blessed month in the Holy QURA'N by Almighty ALLAH. EID is a festival of the Muslim community for the congregation and to share the brotherhood with all other communities. It is celebrated across the world by Muslims with great enthusiasm.
This year EID UL AZHA is scheduled On next Wednesday, 22nd August 2018 in India and subcontinent. This EID recollects and alive the remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his sacrifices and is celebrated to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's sacrifice. This year more than 2 Million Muslims across the world will gather in Arafat on 9th DHUAL HIJJAH and Annual Hajj will be completed in this month which is one of the foundations of ISLAM.
EID brings the tastes of different types of delicious dishes. In India and subcontinent, biryani, fried rice, halwa, khir, etc are served.
Now let us check some sunnah of EID UL ADHA -
1. To wake up early from the bed
2. To take bath properly
3. To use Mishwak
4. To wear the best clothes one possesses
5. To apply perfume (Attar)
6. To go to EID PRAYER FIELD early
7. Not to eat before EID Salah
8. To go to EID PRAYER by one route and to return by another route
9. To recite Takbeer Al Tashriq of EID loudly
*** Men should recite loudly and Women softly
*** Takbeer Tashreeq is Wajib after each fard Salah from Fajr of 9th DHUAL HIJJAH to Asr of 13th DHUAL HIJJAH
